A pioneer in concierge medicine, Linda brings unique insights and expertise to the Redesign Health ecosystem.

As a teacher, mentor and dynamic leader for four decades, Linda Nash has learned countless lessons about healthcare, business and life. Now, Linda will share her unique insights with CEOs and founding teams of transformative operating companies in her new role as Venture Chair at Redesign Health.

“I love consulting and enjoy helping founders run their businesses,” Linda says. “It’s a unique privilege to get to know other leaders, learn more about their motivations and challenges, and coach them on how to deal with both the business and personal side of being a CEO.”

A serial entrepreneur and concierge care pioneer

As a founder of multiple mission-focused businesses, Linda has built and led innovative companies to successful exits. After launching and leading two successful startups in the childhood education arena, Linda shifted to the healthcare space where she founded and led PartnerMD, a membership medical practice. In eight years, Linda grew the company from one physician and 40 patients to 13 locations, 30 physicians and 10,000 clients. In 2016, she started WellcomeMD, a concierge primary care and family medicine practice that now boasts four locations and 10,000 members.

Linda has also worked as a consultant for several other companies, including Redesign Health, and looks forward to transitioning to a Venture Chair role. She shares, “Redesign is such an interesting hybrid of private equity and an incubator. I love the model and I like the innovation Redesign brings to the company creation process.”

Leveraging lessons learned to redesign healthcare

In her role as Venture Chair, Linda will coach and guide strategy, recruitment and business development for select operating companies built at Redesign. To start, she will bring her expertise to a stealth company that will expand the concept of concierge care into the mental health space. “I’m looking forward to sharing the lessons I’ve learned in concierge medicine, teaching leaders how to do it successfully and showing them how to avoid some of the pitfalls that I encountered early on,” Linda says.

Linda has seen firsthand how concierge medicine models improve access to primary care and help patients take a proactive approach to their health, and she’s excited to see what the future holds.

“Primary care is and always will be an integral part of the healthcare system, and concierge care offers a new way for people to access these vital services,” she says. “I’m enthusiastic about a future where concierge medicine becomes more diverse in terms of specialty and pricing, possibly moving into areas like pediatrics and expanding access through different pricing tiers that cater to patients of all income levels.”
