Karl Ulfers is the Co-Founder & CEO of DUOS, a company focused on redefining elder care. Previously, Karl was the CEO of Rally Health, a leading digital health company that makes it easier for consumers to take charge of their health and healthcare. In 2014, Karl joined the digital health start-up to oversee the development of its Care solutions. Later, as Chief Product Officer, he was responsible for leading all innovation and technology efforts for the Rally digital health platform and its solution sets and then became CEO. During his 6 years at Rally, the company grew from 60 employees to over 1,000, serving over 55M members and reaching $1B+ in revenue. Karl has been innovating at the leading edge of digital health since 2006, when he joined the strategic initiatives team at OptumHealth, part of UnitedHealth Group. In his role as VP Consumer Solutions, he helped develop the company’s digital engagement solutions designed to make healthcare more consumer-friendly. Karl holds a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University.
